HhB/HhB 2 Comparison Outline
Cosmetic Differences
The HhB 2 has r
edesigned skins, an ergonomically-designed
door handle, and a new keypad that includes number keys for
pr
ogramming. See Figure 1, adjacent. The outer dimensions of
the HhB 2 ar
e also slightly larger:

Cleaning P
rocedure Differences
Detailed cleaning instructions are provided with each oven, as
w
ell as within the owners and service manuals. The information
below covers only the design differences that affect cleaning.
Single F
ilter
The original HhB incorporated two filters that were attached
to the back o
v
en cavity wall via clips on hinges. The HhB 2
contains only one filter, which is easier to remove due to a
pivoting filter bracket. See Figures 2 and 3, adjacent.
No Drain System
The original HhB o
ven incorporated a lidded drain to help
filter debris into the drain pan beneath the cavity during deep
cleaning.
The HhB 2 has a water-tight cavity and no drain pan
to better accommodate stacking.
Easier
T
op Jetplate Removal
F
or deep cleaning, removing the top jetplate is easier on the
HhB 2 than the original HhB. This is due to additional
clearance to the rear cavity wall.
No D
oor R
emoval for Deep Clean
The original HhB oven door could be removed for deep
cleaning. The HhB 2 door should not be removed unless by
authoriz
ed service personnel, and can be sufficiently cleaned
while it is attached to the frame.
Easier Cooling Fan Cover Removal
Deep cleaning requires removing debris from the rear cooling
fans. On the original HhB oven, the outlet cooling fan cover
was secured to the back panel via sheet metal screws. On the
HhB 2 o
ven, the cooling fan cover can be removed without a
scr
ewdriver (Figure 4) for easier and more effective cleaning.
