3. A new brake pad and a worn out
brake pad. The brake pad should
be replaced when the wear
indicator is not visible.
4. Open the front brake reservoir
cap and remove the excess brake
uid.
5. Remove the caliper from the LH
USD fork using 6 mm Hex key and
push the 4 caliper pistons inside
: Keep a watch on the
reservoir to avoid overow of
brake uid while the front caliper
pistons are pushed in.
6. Assemble the front brake caliper
and torque the caliper mounting
bolts to 28 Nm and insert the
new brake pads, retainer springs,
brake pad lock pin and the clip.
