The Use of Relative Value Mode
The REL mode subtracts a stored value from the present
measurement value and displays the result.
For instance, if the stored value is 20.0V and the present
measurement value is 22.0V, the reading would be 2.0V.
If a new measurement value is equal to the stored value
then display 0.0V.
To enter or exit REL mode:
l Press REL to enter REL mode, auto ranging turns
off, and the present measurement range is locked
and display the present measurement value as the
stored value. The present measurement value
obtained later on is the difference of the stored value.
l Press REL again to display the REL value, is
displayed on the LCD.
l Press REL again to step the display through the
above sequence.
l Press REL for more than 1 second to exit REL
mode. The Meter back to the Auto or Manual ranging
