Obtain a Department of Communications (D.O.C.) Citizens Radio Licence before transmitting.
Plan radio and microphone bracket placement for convenient operation.
Install magnetic mount base and screw-in antenna for maximum range and proper grounding.
Connect power cord to unit and cigarette lighter or fuse block, ensuring correct vehicle ground.
Identify vehicle ground system (negative/positive) for correct power connection.
Wire directly to fuse block, connecting black lead to negative terminal and red to chassis.
