Why is my Unique WS Air Conditioner not starting?
    • K
      Karen MorrisAug 21, 2025
Your Unique Air Conditioner might not be starting due to a few reasons: * The power supply to the unit might not be properly connected. * A fuse might be blown. * The electric supply wall socket could be defective. To resolve this, check the power plug connection in the wall socket. If the red LED on the RST Controller is off, change the RST wires. If the LED is on, check the phase voltage. Also, reset the automatic circuit breaker or replace the line fuse. If the wall socket is defective, repair or replace it.

Why does my Unique WS Air Conditioner only have the indoor fan motor working?
    • B
      Brandon RobertsSep 4, 2025
If only the indoor fan motor works on your Unique Air Conditioner, even when cooling or heating is desired, the cause may be: 1. The selected mode is on Fan Only, or on Cool when heating is desired. 2. The temperature is set to a value that is too high (in Cool mode). 3. A faulty compressor. To solve this, check if the room thermostat is on the desired mode and select the correct mode. Observe the temperature setting on the room thermostat. If the compressor is faulty, replace it.

What causes gas pressure to be too high in Unique WS?
    • M
      matthew02Sep 2, 2025
High gas pressure in your Unique Air Conditioner may be due to: 1. A clogged water strainer. 2. Condenser cooling water being too warm. 3. No water circulation in the heat exchanger. To resolve this, clean the strainer, check the cooling tower (or the cooling water source) for proper operation, and clean or replace the heat exchanger if it is clogged.

What causes gas pressure to be too low in Unique WS Air Conditioner?
    • C
      castillocarolynSep 1, 2025
Low gas pressure in your Unique Air Conditioner can be caused by: 1. A clogged air filter. 2. A faulty fan capacitor. 3. A faulty fan motor. 4. Air discharge shutters being too closed. 5. A lack of refrigerant. 6. Condenser cooling water being too cold. To solve this, clean the filter, replace the capacitor, replace the fan motor, open the air discharge shutters, check for leaks and add refrigerant, and check the cooling tower (or the cooling water source) for proper operation.

What to do if my Unique Air Conditioner has low capacity?
    • D
      Donna NormanAug 31, 2025
If your Unique Air Conditioner has low capacity, it could be due to: * A lack of refrigerant, causing ice formation on the evaporator coil (in Cool mode). * Clogged air filters. To fix this, have the unit charged according to the nameplate after locating the gas leak. Also, clean the filters.

What to do if my Unique Air Conditioner only blows air but no cooling or heating?
    • L
      Lauren KnightAug 27, 2025
If your Unique Air Conditioner's fan motor is working, but there is no cooling or heating, it could be due to: 1. The overload safety device on the compressor is cut out due to high temperature. 2. The compressor run capacitor is burnt. 3. The compressor winding is shorted. To address this, switch off the power and try again after one hour. Replace the compressor run capacitor, and replace the compressor if needed.
