Hang up the handset or press to end the call.
5. Switch Talk Mode from Handset to Speakerphone:
Press , then hang up the handset to talk through the speakerphone.
6. Switch Talk Mode from Speakerphone to handset:
Pick up the handset, the talk mode will switch to handset automatically.
7. Hold
a. ln handset talk mode, press
, you may hear the call party’s talking from the
handset, but the call party can’t hear you.
b. ln speakerphone talk mode,press ,line will be held with music. You can’t hear the
call party’s talking from the Speakerphone, and the call party can’t hear you.
c. Hold release: Pick up the handset or press or press again to release the call.
8. R
Press & extension number to transfer the line to another extension if the phone runs
on a PABX system.
9. Pause:
Press the button to enter a 1, 2/2, 4/3, 6 second pause. The pause time can be
programmed using the PAUSE TIME option. Default is 2.4 seconds.
PROCEDURE WITH PABX SWITCHBOARD
9.1. Pick up the handset or press .
9.2. Wait for the PABX switchboard dial tone.
9.3. Dial the telephone line access code (usually 0).
9.4. Press to add a PAUSE.
9.5. Wait for the dial tone.
9.6. Dial the number to call.
9.7. Either hang up the handset or press at the end of the conversation.
The Urmet PABX doesn’t need insert the PAUSE.
10. Redial:
Pick up the handset or press , press to redial the last dialed numbers.
11. Out:
In on-hook status,press to review the last dialed number, press continuously
to review last 16 dialed numbers, pick up handset or press to dial the reviewing
number.
12. Sets up 10 One-Touch Speed Dial Memories:
a. STORING: With the handset on-hook, press and enter the number to be
stored. Hold the button pressed to store a pause and press speed dial button 1
(1~10).
b. DIALLING: Pick up the handset or press , then press speed dial button 1 (1~10) to
automatically dial the stored number.
13. Prefi x code:
If you have set up a PREFIX (e.g. 0 P 0, i.e. “zero pause zero”), press twice
to add PREFIX in front of the telephone number automatically, PREFIX especially used
behind PABX.
