Why is my Utilitech 7113-01-L so loud?
    • J
      Jorge MaldonadoJul 31, 2025
There are several reasons why your Utilitech Fan might be louder than expected. It could be due to: * The CFM rating being too high for the room size. Ensure the CFM rating matches the room's requirements. * A faulty or damaged damper. Check that the damper opens and closes correctly. * A sharp bend in the duct close to the fan discharge (closer than 18 inches). * Using ducting that is smaller than the recommended size. * The fan body not being securely attached to the ceiling joists. Ensure it is properly secured.

What to do if Utilitech Fan is not clearing the room?
    • M
      Michael HernandezAug 16, 2025
If your Utilitech Fan isn't clearing the room effectively, it could be due to insufficient intake airflow or insufficient CFM. Make sure a door or window is slightly ajar to allow airflow into the room, as the fan needs airflow to draw from. Also, ensure the fan's CFM rating matches the room size requirements. Note that using a tissue is not an accurate method for determining if the fan is operating properly; if the fan clears steam from the room within approximately 15 minutes of completing your shower, then the fan is operating properly.
