lterwithaporesizeof0.2µmdoesnotavoidsafelyacontaminationofthevacuum
pump in all cases.
AlsoincaseofadefectofthelteroroperationoftheBVCwithoutlterpathogenic
germs(e.g.,bacteria,viruses,prions,fungi)mayenterthepump.
A decontamination of the vacuum pump is possible in the following ways:
- Gassing of the interior.
- Disassambling the pump parts and insertion of the parts in a disinfectant solution
or by autoclaving of the contaminated parts.
