6.6 Diagnostics of driving problems.
Wheel drive gear
clutch does not switch-
off
Improperly adjusted steering litz
wire
No rumbling must be heard from the
gearbox when manually turning the travel
wheel in counter-travel direction (wheel
gear switched off). Keep screwing in the
adjustment bolt No. 3 until the rumbling
sound disappears.
Broken release spring Contact a service shop
Wheel drive gear
clutch does not engage
Another defect of the gearbox Contact a service shop

Cutting disk does not
turn
Tightening pulley is not stressing
the belt properly
Tightening pulley to be set by adjustment
bolt No. 2. (see Fig. 8)
Litz wire is fallen out from
tightening pulley lever
Put the litz wire back to its place
V-belt is fallen behind tightening
pulley or down from belt pulley
Put the belt back to its place
V-belt is broken Replace the V-belt with a new one
Excessive belt extension

Replace the V-belt with a new one
Brake performance is
insufficient
Brake litz wire is too stressed Set the litz wire so that it is slightly slack
with lever on the right handrail released –
screw in the adjustment bolt No.1
(see Fig. 8)
Brake cam lever is insufficiently
greased

Lining is worn out Contact a service shop
