  If the brake on your Vari Brush Cutter isn't working, adjust the brake if there is no axial clearance in the bowden cable or if the cable is stretched. Do not lubricate the key mount if the brake key is not loose. Lubricate the tension pulley if it does not return back to its position. Lubricate or replace the bowden cable if it is stiff or bent. Replace the travel pulley spring if it is broken. If the brake lining is worn and the brake cannot be adjusted, visit a service facility.
