2.3.2 DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE AND ITS COMPONENTS
The multi-purpose (in
D:?
) brush cutter is based on its steel frame >? of profiled sheet metal to which all
the critical machine parts are attached. All the (>, >o, >p and l2) are ergonomically located on the handlebars. The
handlebars are attached to the frame by means of the (o, and they are height-adjustable in six positions. +BBt are used
to firmly grip and guide the machine at work. The left hand side of the handlebar features theB >p9 which controls the
machine’s forward travel. On the right side, there is the working tool B > featuring its $ D
~$>o that starts (stops) the working tool (blade) drive. If the operator releases the handlebars in an emergency, the two
control levers return to their initial positions and disconnect the power transmission from the engine. The blade drive features its automatic
brake that stops the blade
op
in emergency. Engine speed control is performed by the l or, in the case of an electric
starter motor, a switch on the $. The engine start is either manual, by pulling a cord attached to the fan rotor, or electric
(7m only) by a starter and (, A. Travel uses the FB>> with their arrow thread driven by a worm gear. It secures
continues power transmission through a belt clutch (the machine starts moving without jerking) to the wheels. The clutch gearbox is
covered with its $ >. The front $? covers the brake, blade drive clutch, and belt drive. The front frame
section features a pressed onto ( >A. The blade is fixed, with cutting edges at its ends. The working space features its
replaceable >@ of durable sheet metal, which, except for the front part, overlaps the blade plane and protects the operator against
any flying parts of moved cut growth. The cover is riveted of several parts by solid stainless rivets and is fastened to the frame with bolts. A
plastic mudguard is attached between the wheels. The machine is guided by its rotary, height-adjustable $>, which is attached to the
front of the machine frame.

The machine’s surface power depends on the mowed growth type.

With regard to the ever increasing share of BIO-components in fuel, use fuel with the minimum amount of these additives. Those are, for example, premium fuels with greater
octane numbers.
67
The automatic brake is an active safety feature that increases the machine safety.
