Deleting the CD name
1- Short press ENTER.
2- With the keys, select DEL NAME.
3- Use the
keys, to select the name you want
to delete, then press ENTER.
Setting the Sound Compression
This function allows you to compress the digital
sound signal.
1- Short press ENTER.
2- With the
keys,select COMPRESS
3- Use the
keys to select the value: LOW,
MID, HIGH or OFF (default value).
4- Press ESC to enter the value.
Setting the Repeat Playback
This function allows you to activate/deactivate
repeat playback feature.
1- Short press ENTER.
2- With the
keys, select REPEAT.
3- Use the keys to select:
- ON to repeat current audio CD track.
- FILE to repeat current MP3 file.
- ALBUM to repeat current MP3 album.
- OFF to deactivate repeat playback
feature.
4- Press ESC to enter the value.
Setting the Random Playback
This function allows you to activate/deactivate
random playback feature.
1- Short press ENTER.
2- With the
keys, select RANDOM.
3- Use the keys to select:
- ON to randomly playback audio CD.
- ALBUM to randomly playback MP3 files
within the album.
- All CD to randomly playback MP3 files
within the MP3 CD.
- OFF to deactivate random playback
feature.
4- Press ESC to enter the value.
Moving to the SAM Menu
Use this to get to the SAM Menu.
1- Short press ENTER.
2- Select SAM with the keys.
3- Press ENTER to get to the SAM Menu.
AUDIO
You can set the audio options by either a short
or long press on the SOUND key.
Depending of this key press, you get two
different sound menus (see cover page).
SOUND MENU
1- Short press the SOUND key to get to the
SOUND MENU.
2- Use the keys to select an option.
3- Use the
keys to set the option value.
4- Press ESC to enter the value.
Note : Loudness, Balance, Fader and
Subwoofer effects are the same for all sources.
Switching the Loudness Curve
This source independent function activates the
loudness response curve.
1- Short press SOUND.
2- Select LOUDNESS with the
keys.
3- Use the
keys to select ON or OFF (default
value).
4- Press ESC to enter the value.
Note: Adjustment of Loudness is only possible
when "Bass Treble" is selected as the DSC style.
Selecting a Sound Style (1)
With this source dependant function, you can
select a preset sound effect among others.
1- Short press SOUND.
2- Select DSC STYLE with the
keys.
3- Use the
keys to select one predefined
style: Bass Treble (default), Rock Cafe,
Bodega, Techno Club, Arena, Jazz Club or
Direct Snd.
4- Press ESC to enter the value.
Selecting a Sound Style (2)*
With this source dependant function, you can
select a preset sound effect among others.
1- Short press SOUND.
2- Select EQ STYLE with the
keys.
3- Use the keys to select one predefined
styles: Auto EQ, Custom1, ..., Custom5.
4- Press ESC to enter the value.
