PPS10 Pocket Scope
TM
‘norm’ = normal triggering (fig. 58)
The signal must exceed the trigger level before
it can be shown onto the display. It is the only
possible trigger mode with oversampling (2µs/
div or faster).
‘run’ = auto triggering (fig. 59)
The scope will trigger after a certain delay when
the signal has not exceeded the trigger level.
Use this trigger mode to measure DC signals.
‘once’ = single sampling (fig. 60a & 60b)
When the trigger level is reached, the signal will
be sampled and held onto the display. This
mode is very interesting for showing the single
phenomena. Delete the signal from the display
by pressing the joystick. The scope will wait for
a triggering. Pressing the joystick when the
scope is waiting for a triggering will cause a
forced manual triggering.
‘roll’ = roll mode(fig. 61)
The roll mode is only available for time bases of
1s/div or slower. Sampling is continuous and the
display starts rolling as soon as it is full. Us this
position for recording slow moving DC signals.
Manual triggering
Press the joystick to trigger manually. This
can be useful to start the sampling (e.g. to
record a charging or a discharging curve).
