VERITAS NetBackup Series User Manual

In a failover scenario, inputs and outputs are rerouted to healthy data paths. The
failed paths are restored automatically when they become healthy. DMP also reduces
the complexity of managing thousands of I/O paths in case they need to be
temporarily disabled for array maintenance.
