About appliance dynamic multi-pathing for
VMware backups with SAN transport
NetBackup appliances support dynamic multi-pathing (DMP) in a SAN environment
for VMware backups. DMP enhances I/O performance by distributing requests
across all available paths. DMP on the Appliance can distinguish between the active
paths and passive paths and make use of the active paths.
