About Fibre Transport paths for NetBackup
appliances
Table 1-11 shows the backup, restore, and duplication paths for NetBackup Fibre
Transport (FT) for NetBackup appliances. It also shows the FT settings from the
NetBackup Appliance Web Console that enable a functionality.
FT requires the following appliance software versions:
■ NetBackup 5330 appliance versions 2.6.1 and later are compatible with
NetBackup 50xx deduplication appliance versions 1.4.2 and later.
■ NetBackup 52xx and 53xx appliances must use software version 2.7.3 and later
on both the source host and the target host to duplicate data.
