IMPORTANT NOTE!
Make sure the electronics (the left circle on the
picture) get not in touch with the solvent and
the plug (the right circle on the picture) stays
outside of the ultrasonic bath.
Set temperature on the ultrasonic bath as low
as possible within the effective range. (To find
out the correct temperature settings, read the
datasheets of the dispensing material and the
cleaning agent.)
Leave the components inside for about 15
minutes.
Step 3: Clean the channels of all components
using a cleaning rod, a fluid brush and a fluid
box cleaner
Take the beaker with the components out of
the ultrasonic bath.
Take all components out of the beaker. For the
small components use tweezers.
Clean all the components with a cleaning rod, a
fluidic brush or a fluid box cleaner.
Step 4: Clean the channel of the nozzle insert
Clean the channel of the nozzle insert with a
cleaning wire.
Clean clogged nozzle inserts (with orifices
smaller than 100µm, except for nozzle inserts
with long dispensing channels, namely J-/C-
series, N-27 and N-28) with a MDT 316.
You can use the Nozzle Insert Cleaning Holder
MDT 324 with all Vermes nozzle inserts. With it,
you can safely keep the nozzle insert in place
during cleaning and drying with compressed air.
Step 5: Finally dry all components with
compressed air
Clean the valve with a lint-free cloth and a
suitable cleaning agent (e.g. Isopropanol) if
necessary.
Clean O-rings with Isopropanol and dry them
with a lint-free cloth and compressed air.
