To replace the fan:
1. Turn Off power to the unit using the disconnect.
2. Use a voltmeter verify that voltage is no longer present at the unit. Wait a minimum of
10minutes to allow the EC fan capacitors to discharge before proceeding.
3. Remove the fan cover, disconnect electrical connections internal to the EC fan and remove the
cable glands from the EC fan to be replaced (see Figure 8.4 below, and Figure 8.5 on the
facing page.
