7.5 REMOVAL OF
THE AUTO-FILL VALVE
The auto-fill valve is positioned on the left
side of the machine, over the pumps. Its
operation regulates the amount of water
that flows inside the heater during all phas-
es of machine operation. The control unit
continuously interrogates the level sensor
and opens the valve if the level of water in
the boiler is not sufficient to cover the heat-
ing element.
To remove the auto-fill valve, proceed as it
follows:

Remove the cup holder surface and the
left side panel, as described in Chapter 3.

Empty the boiler as described in para-
graph 5.2.
3
Utilizing a 13 mm wrench, disconnect the
outgoing pipe from the auto-fill valve.
