instructions and refer to them often for cleaning and care tips.
Pleasefollowtheseimportantinstructionswhileusingyourunit:
1.Makesureyouuseespressostylegroundsintheespressomaker.
2. Before removing any of the parts and accessories, make sure the power button is off with
the light ring unlit and unplug the unit. Allow the appliance to cool.

at any time.
4.Usecautionwhenremovingtheportalter.Themetalpartsmaystillbeveryhot.There
maybehotwateroatingontopofthelter.Holditbyitshandletodisposeofthe
brewed espresso grounds.
5.Ifespressodoesnotappear,theportalterisblocked.Turnofftheapplianceandallow
ittocooldown.Theespressobeansmighthavebeengroundtoonelyanditmaybe
causingthis.Seethe“problemsandsolutions”section.
6. To clean the steam wand, place a pitcher or large cup with water under the steam wand.
Makesurethetipofthesteamwandissubmergedinliquidbeforepressingthesteam
button“

”onandturningthesteamdialclockwiseforsteam.Froththewaterfor
approximately 15 seconds then wipe the steam wand, sleeve and tip clean.
NOTE: In order for your unit to work properly , clean the steam wand, sleeve and tip after each use .

EspressoMakerbeforeitsrstuse.Followthesesimplesteps:
1. Makesuretheunitisoffandunpluggedfromtheelectricaloutlet.
2. Firstremoveandthenwashthewaterreservoiranditslid,theportalter,ltersand 
tamper in a mixture of mild detergent and water. Rinse each thoroughly and place them
 backontotheunit.Refertotheinstructionsbelowon“BREWINGESPRESSO”before 
 removingthelterandportalter.
3. Tocleantheinsideoftheappliance,followstepslistedin“BREWINGESPRESSO” using
 wateronly.Donotimmersetheapplianceinwaterorattempttoreachanyofits 
internal parts.
PRIME THE PUMP BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Run a thirty second steam cycle using the following instructions:
1.PushthePowerbutton

” on lighting the amber ring.
2. Placeacupunderthesteamwand.
3.PresstheSteambutton“
+
”. The amber light ring will illuminate.
4. Turn the steam dial clockwise to activate some steam.
5. Wait thirty seconds and press the steam button “

” to stop the cycle.
