Remove the steam wand sleeve and wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth. Rinse the

Mineraldepositsthathavebuilt-upintheEspressoMakerwillaffecttheoperationofthe
appliance.YourEspressoMakermustbedescaledwhenyoubegintonoticeanincrease
inthetimerequiredtobrewespresso,orwhenthereisexcessivesteaming.Youmayalso
notice build up of white deposits on the surface of the brew head.
Thefrequencyofcleaningdependsuponthehardnessofthewaterused.Thefollowing
table gives the suggested cleaning intervals.
