5) FINAL TESTING
The lift system must be tested by skilled staff
authorised by VIMEC.
Run the lift up and down a few times, checking that:
- There is no interference between the platform and the
shaft.
- There are no unusual vibrations or strange noises.
- The platform stops in exactly the correct positions at
the oors.
- Static tests
- Static load of 1.25 times the maximum load (375 kg)
midway through the lift travel (lift stationary).
- Check operation of the lift without load.
- Dynamic tests
- Operate the lift with 1.1 times the maximum load (330
kg).
- Check the lift functions and safety functions.
- Check operation of the controls.
- Check operation of the emergency Stop.
- Check operation of the emergency raising/lowering
system.
- Check operation of the alarm system.
- Insulation test (see folder of wiring diagrams).
- Following the diagram provided in the electrical wiring
diagram folder.
6) OPERATING CHECKS AND ADJUSTMENTS
- Run the lift up and down several times, checking that
the electrical and mechanical parts and safety devices
are operating correctly.
- Check that no sheaths or obstacles are interfering with
moving parts.
- Adjust the oor sensors so that the platform stops
exactly level with the oor threshold (see folder of
wiring diagrams).
- Check that all the metal fasteners have been securely
tightened.
- Check that the doors are only released within a range
of ± 50 mm in relation to the threshold of the corre-
sponding oor.
