To avoid accidentally obscuring the picture, keep your
fingers and other objects away from the lens, flash,
and sensor on the front of the camera.
Zoom and Shoot
Zoom in on a particular object
You can use the digital Zoom In or Zoom Out
buttons to zoom in or out. When using zoom, use the LCD
display to preview the effects of the zoom function.
When you are satisfied with the preview, slowly press the
Shutter Button. (Quickly pressing the Shutter Button might
shake the camera and cause a blurry picture.)
Press the Shutter Button half way to initiate the camera's
image processing functions auto exposure and white
balance. The camera will prepare to take the image
based upon the lighting conditions. The camera will also
determine whether or not the flash is required. Press the
shutter button the rest of the way to take the shot.
Turning the Camera Off
When you are finished taking pictures, make sure to close
the lens cover and shut the camera off. Closing the lens
cover will protect the lens from damage and shutting
the camera off will conserve battery power.
