1. Tripod Socket: Use this ¼”-20 socket to mount
your camera on a tripod. A tripod is especially
useful for low light and night pictures. It can also
be very helpful to hold the camera when taking
group pictures or when using the self-timer
mode.
2. Battery / Memory Card Cover: Open this cover
for access to the 2 AA batteries and the
memory card slot.
3. Memory Card Slot: Insert a SmartMedia™
memory card into the memory slot to increase
the storage capacity of your camera. Memory
cards are available at major retailers.
4. Battery Chamber: Insert two AA alkaline
batteries.
