Overview

This document describes the assembly and features of a Silver Mobile TV Cart, identified by SKU: STAND-TV09. The cart is designed to provide a portable and adjustable solution for displaying televisions and other media devices, such as DVDs.

The primary function of this device is to securely hold a television and a DVD player (or similar media device) while allowing for easy mobility and adjustability. It is suitable for various environments, including homes, offices, classrooms, and conference rooms, where the flexibility to move a display is beneficial.

Assembly Steps and Usage Features:

The assembly process begins with attaching the base to the legs. The base (D) slides over the legs (E) and is secured using M6x16mm Screws (S-C), M6x40mm Screws (S-F), and a 5mm Allen Wrench (T-A). Following this, left and right covers (I, J) are snapped onto the base (D), ensuring the arrows on the covers face the front.

Next, the casters (M) are installed onto the legs (E). These casters feature a locking mechanism, which can be engaged by pressing down a lever to prevent the cart from moving. It is recommended to lock the casters before further installation to ensure stability. The casters also offer height adjustment, which can be performed using a wrench (T-C) if needed. This feature allows users to fine-tune the cart's level on uneven surfaces or to achieve a desired overall height.

The lower column (C) is then attached to the base assembly. This step involves laying the lower column on an elevated surface and securing the base assembly using a support plate (K), M8x30mm Screws (S-E), and a 6mm Allen Wrench (T-B). A crucial note during this step is to ensure that the wider ends of all components are facing towards the front of the base, which is important for proper alignment and stability.

A shelf (F) is integrated into the design, providing a platform for a DVD player or other accessories. To install the shelf, screws on the shelf are loosened using a 5mm Allen Wrench (T-A) to create a gap of 4mm or larger between the shelf and its metal plates. The shelf is then slid onto the lower column (C), aligning the metal plates within the column's slots. Once the desired height for the shelf is achieved, the screws are tightened using the 5mm Allen Wrench (T-A) to secure it in place. This adjustable shelf enhances the cart's utility by accommodating various media devices at a convenient height.

The upper column (B) is attached to the lower column (C) using M8x20mm Screws (S-D) and a 6mm Allen Wrench (T-B). A handle (L) is then slid onto the upper column (B), ensuring it fully covers the jointed section between the two columns. This handle provides a convenient grip for maneuvering the cart. A grommet cover (N) is pressed into the cable access hole on the upper column (B), which aids in cable management by providing a neat entry point for wires.

The mount (A) for the television is installed onto the upper column (B). Similar to the shelf installation, a screw on the mount is loosened using a 5mm Allen Wrench (T-A) to create a gap of 4mm or larger between the mount and its metal plates. The mount is then slid onto the upper column (B), with the metal plates positioned within the slots. The height of the mount can be adjusted to the user's preference, and once set, the screws are tightened using the 5mm Allen Wrench (T-A). Finally, a column cover (H) is installed onto the top of the upper column (B), providing a finished look and protecting the internal components.

The VESA brackets (G) are attached to the back of the TV using appropriate screws (M-A through M-D) and M8 Washers (M-E). Spacers (M-F, M-G) are provided for use if needed, ensuring compatibility with various TV models and preventing the screws from being too long or too short. Once the VESA brackets are secured to the TV, the TV is hung onto the mount (A). The TV's position can be adjusted to be centered on the mount, and it is then fastened using M6x12mm Screws (S-B) and a Phillips screwdriver.

Adjustability and Orientation:

The TV cart offers significant adjustability for optimal viewing. The television can be oriented in either landscape or portrait mode. For landscape orientation, the arrow on the mount (A) should face up, and the position is locked using M6x8mm Screws (S-A) and a Phillips screwdriver. For portrait orientation, the mount (A) is rotated so the arrow points sideways, and the position is again locked using M6x8mm Screws (S-A) and a Phillips screwdriver.

In addition to orientation, the TV's tilt can be adjusted. Knobs (A1) on the mount (A) are loosened to allow for tilting the TV, and then retightened to secure the desired angle. This feature allows users to reduce glare or achieve a more comfortable viewing experience.

Maintenance Features:

Cable management is an integrated feature of the design. The assembled stand includes cable management holes that allow users to route cords neatly, preventing clutter and potential tripping hazards. This contributes to a cleaner and safer setup.

For future adjustments, the provided Allen wrenches (T-A, T-B) can be conveniently stored in the handle (L). This ensures that the necessary tools are always at hand for any modifications to the shelf height, mount height, or other adjustable components, promoting ease of maintenance and long-term usability.

The product emphasizes safety with a "TIPOVER WARNING" and "CHOKING HAZARD" notice. Users are advised not to allow children to climb, stand, hang, or play on any part of the TV or TV cart to prevent serious or fatal crushing injuries. The use of tipover restraint or anchoring the stand to a wall is recommended, although it only reduces, not eliminates, the risk of tipover. The "CHOKING HAZARD" warning highlights that small parts are not suitable for children under 3 years, requiring adult supervision.

Overall, the Silver Mobile TV Cart is a versatile and user-friendly device designed for mobility, adjustability, and secure display of televisions and media players, with thoughtful features for assembly, usage, and maintenance.
