► By default, the Network Camera is not password-protected. To prevent unauthorized
accesses, it is highly recommended to set a password for the Network Camera.
For more information about how to enable password protection,
please refer to Security on
page 22.
► If you see a warning message at initial access, click Yes to install an ActiveX
®
control on your
computer.
► If you see a dialog box indicating that your security settings prohibit running ActiveX
®
Controls, please enable your ActiveX
®
Controls for your browser.
1. Choose Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level.
2. Look for Download signed ActiveX
®
controls; select Enable or Prompt. Click OK.
