SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1.3.1 STORAGE
CAUTION Risk of falling due to uneven surfaces:
Possible injury and damage to the device
• never store or place the case and/or the device on uneven ground
ATTENTION Physical impact on probe or device:
Risk of damaging probe, device and/or single components
• the product should only be stored in the transport case designed by the
manufacturer
• avoid strong coils and knots
• do not pull the probe
• do not step on the probe
• do not drop the probe nor its optical adapters
ATTENTION The battery remains in the device:
Negative eects on the performance and possible damage to the battery
• remove the battery from the device when stored
• make sure to store the battery at room temerature
ATTENTION Humid environment, high temperatures, lots of dust and suspended particles:
Possible damage to the device and/or components
• do not expose the transport case and base unit to water
• store the device in a dry environment, even when it is stored in its case
• do not store in direct sunlight
• do not store in environments that contain halogenated gases
• do not store in very dusty environments
