1.3 Removing, installing and tensioning
toothed belt
Note
From 05.06 a modified engine support (with less clearance to en‐
gine) has been introduced. For the procedure „removing, instal‐
ling and tensioning toothed belt“ it is only necessary to remove
the engine support and support the engine when changing the
tensioning roller (e.g. type of service). The toothed belt can be
removed and installed without removing the engine support.
– Determine which type of engine support is installed in the ve‐
hicle.
