7. INSERTING/REPLACING BATTERIES
For operation of the meter, 6 Mignon batteries (e.g. AA, LR6, etc.) are required. You need to
insert new, charged batteries prior to initial operation or when the battery change symbol
appears on the display.
To insert/replace the battery, proceed as follows:
- Point 1: Disconnect the connected measuring leads from the measuring circuit and from
your meter. Switch the device off. Unfold the stand.
- Point 2: Loosen the 3 screws on the battery compartment cover on the back with a Phillips
screwdriver that ts. The screws cannot be lost and must not be removed.
- Point 3: Fold the stand upwards. The battery compartment cover comes out of the bracket
and can be removed.
- Point 4: Replace the at batteries with new ones of the same type. Pay attention to the
polarity and the label in the battery compartment. The fuse is accessible on the right side
through a small well.
- Point 5: Carefully close up the housing again in the reverse order.
