13. TROUBLESHOOTING
In purchasing this meter, you have acquired a product which has been designed to the state of
the art and is operationally reliable.
Nevertheless, problems or faults may occur.
Therefore, we would like to describe here how you can solve any problems:
Always follow the safety instructions!

Are the batteries spent? Check the status. Replace the
batteries.

Is the wrong measuring func-
tion active (AC/DC)?
Check the measuring range
(AC/DC) and switch the func-
tion if necessary.
Are the measuring leads
plugged into the measuring
sockets correctly?
Check the seating of the
measuring leads.
Is the hold function active ("H")
display
Press the "HOLD" button to
deactivate this function.
Is the fuse defective? Check the fuse.
No insulation measure-
ment possible
Is there outside voltage at the
measuring leads?
Turn off power to all circuit
components.
No low-ohm resistance
measurement possible

Turn off power to all circuit
