Repair - MS2 reverse gear and upper gear housing, sailboat drive
108. Put the shaft in a press.
Use tool no. 884725 and press the lock washer down
so far that the retaining ring halves can be put into the
groove.
109. Reverse gear MS2
Put the shaft in the housing. Put the calculated thick-
ness of shims on, followed by the outer bearing race.
Press the outer bearing race on with tool no. 884732.
110. Align the “TOP” marking upwards, and install
sliding sleeve (1) and needle roller bearing (2).
111. Put a new O-ring in the groove in the upper bear-
ing housing. Then install the bearing housing on the
housing.
