Display
required, the lowering protection can be
inactivated in this menu.
Activate/inactivate the lowering
protection with the display control
buttons.
Drainage/Bleeding
This function is used to drain water from
the fuel filter housing and to bleed the
fuel system using fuel.
1 When there is water in the fuel filter a
message is displayed. Stop the
vehicle and activate the parking
brake.
2 Enable draining/bleeding in the
Vehicle settings main menu. Select
submenu Draining/Bleeding. A
message confirms.
3 A symbol is displayed when the fuel
filter housing needs draining or the
fuel pipes need bleeding.
4 A message is displayed if draining or
bleeding is not allowed or has been
unsuccessful.
Day running lights
Day running lights automatic can be
switched off in this menu. If the day
running lights have been set to the OFF
position, the dipped beam must be
switched on and off using the knob in the
panel. Choose ON or OFF with the
display control buttons.
Menu diagnosis
Fault diagnosis
A list of the bus control units is shown in
the Fault diagnostics menu.
1 Switch between control units with ▲
and ▼.
2 Press Enter to confirm selection of
control unit, or press ESC to cancel.
While the selected control unit is
called, the display indicates that data
transfer is taking place. If the
selected control unit has no faults,
No faults are displayed.
3 Press ESC to return to the previous
menu. If the selected control unit
does not reply within 5 seconds, the
following is shown in the display:
Operation failed.
4 Press ESC and try to make the
adjustment once more. If it still does
not work, contact a workshop.
5 If there are more fault codes or fault
messages for the same control unit,
step through the fault codes with
▲and ▼.
Reset all is shown last in the list. This
resetting only deletes the fault codes
for the selected control unit. A
maximum of 20 fault codes/
messages can be shown for a control
unit. To see more than the first 20,
one or more messages must be
deleted.
6 Press Enter to obtain more
information about the fault code. The
fault codes are shown numerically. If
the fault is inactive, time and date
when the fault occurred are shown,
among other things.

Cluster selftest
Indicator lamps test
1 Choose Control lamp test, LEDs.
The control lamps light for approx. 5
seconds.
2 Press ESC to stop the test.
Gauges test
1 Select Gauge test.
2 The gauges makes a test sweep
from zero to max. The needles move
a few times between the end
positions. The needles do not show
any specific value, only that they
work.
3 Press ESC to stop the test.
