Wheelchair lift
CAUTION
The edges of the platform must be aligned
with the lateral plate. Do not try to push the
rollstop if the platform is not aligned, it can
damage the lever mechanism.
• Lock the wheelchair brakes when on
the platform (power chair users must
turn off the power and activate the
brake).
• Use great care in wet conditions,
because the wheelchair brakes are
less effective if the wheels or the
platform are wet.
NOTE
Careful supervision is necessary if used
near children.
• Being able to pivot inside the bus
assures that a passenger can safely
exit facing outward. Do not place
large pieces of equipment that can
hinder the wheelchair.
• Do not rely on a threshold-warning
device (audible, or other) to confirm
that it is safe for a passenger to exit.
• Be certain that the wheelchair fits
safely on the platform.
• The lift is intended only for a
wheelchair and occupant or
caregiver.
Maintenance
Refer to the cycle counter located on the
rear side of the hydraulic power unit.
Under normal operating conditions,
maintenance inspections are required at
regular intervals. Ten cycles are
considered average daily use.
WARNING
Maintenance or service operation on the
lift, must be performed by mechanics with
technical expertise and experience in the
