flange

rear
belt
cover
Sealing flange should be inSlalled

seais.
Use a
new
gasket.
Trim edges
of
gasket.
Note:Do not forget
two
cable hamess clips.

Lubricate and i

front
oil
seals
Use press tool 5025
for
intermediate shaft seals and
5024
for
crankshaft
sea
Is.
Check that seals are
not
damaged
or
twisted.

Install:
- (early types) spacer sleeve on crankshaft. Bevelied
edge
of
sleeve should face forwards.

- pulley.

types: install
pulley
with
key bevel
facing cylinder block)
- hub
- centre
bolt
Torque center
bolt
to
165
Nm
(120 ft. Ibs.) uSing 5034.
Install i
ntermediate
shaft
pulley
Mark on
pulley
should
face
outwards.

Torque
to
50
Nm
(36 ft.lbs). Use counterhold 5034.
