Install water pump and heater pipe
Use a new gasket and new O-ring.

Top edge of pump should be flush with cylinder block.
Vehicles with Pulsair svstern: replace tube retaining
screws
with inhex type.
Install rear seaUng flange
Use a new gasket. Trim edges of gasket.
Insert oil seal in rear sealing flange
Assemble special tool 1801 and drift 5276.
Oil contact faces and place seal in drift.

If end of crankshah shows signs of wear press seal
further in than before.
Aemove
one spacer from drift if old seal is flush with
flange.
Aemove
two spacers from drift if old seal is 3 mm (0 .12 in)
from
Ilange.
leave both spacers in drift if crankshah is in good condi-
tion.
Tap in
sea I until drift seats against crankshah.
Oll PUMP, SUMP
Install oil pump and pipe
Check that pump shaft fits into drive gear.
Do not forget to lnsta!! O-rings in pipe.
