seriouspersonalinjuryordeath.
CAUTION
DONOTcranktheengineformorethan
30secondsatatime;waittwominutes
aftereachtrytoallowthestartertocool.
Failuretofollowtheseinstructionscould
causestarterdamage.
Note:Somestartersareequippedwithstarter
protection.Iftheengineisrunning,thestarter
temperatureistoohighorthetransmissionis
notinneutral,starterengagementisinhibited.
Allowtheenginetoslowdownandidlefor
3to5minutesbeforeshuttingitoff.This
allowstheturbotoslowdownandthecooling
systemtodissipatetheengineheat.Switch
theengineoffbyturningtheignitionkeyto
theOFFposition.
CAUTION
Shuttingoffanengineimmediatelyafter
highspeedorfullloadoperationcan
damagetheturboandcauseheatstressin
theengine.Alwayslettheengineidlefor
3to5minutesbeforeshuttingitoff.
