Theengineshut-downsystemwillautomaticallyderateorstoptheenginewhenoneormore
ofthesystemslistedbelowreachesacriticalstage:
•HighCoolantTemperature
•LowOilPressure
•LowCoolantLevel
•HighCrankcasePressure
•HighDieselParticulateFilterSootLevel
•LowDEFFluidLevel
Whentheshut-downisactivated,thetell-talescomeonandthebuzzerisalsoactivated.
Fromthattimeitwilltake30secondsbeforetheengineshutsdown.Inthistimeperiod,nd
asafeplacetopulloffoftheroad.
Aftertheenginehasbeenshutdownbythesystem,theoverridewillallowarestartofthe
enginefor30seconds.Thisissothevehiclemaybepulledofftheroad,ifnecessary.The
alarmwillremainactivateduntilrepairshavebeenmadetocorrecttheproblem.
Theoperatorshouldnotcontinuallyoverridethesystemasthiscancauseseriousdamageto
thevehicle'sengine.
