OWNER’SWARRANTYRESPONSIBILITIES:
Asthemotorvehicleengineowner,youareresponsiblefortheperformanceoftherequired
maintenancelistedinthismanual.Prevostrecommendsthatyouretainallreceiptscovering
maintenanceofyourvehicle,butPrevostcannotdenywarrantysolelyforthelackofreceipts
orforyourfailuretoensuretheperformanceofallscheduledmaintenancelistedinother
manualswhichweresuppliedwithyourvehicle.Y ouareresponsibleforpresentingyour
motorvehicleenginetoaPrevostServiceCenterassoonasaproblemexists.Thewarranty
repairsshouldbecompletedinareasonableamountoftime,nottoexceed30days.Asthe
motorvehicleengineowner,youshouldalsobeawarethatPrevostmaydenyyouwarranty
coverageifyourvehicleoraparthasfailedduetoabuse,neglect,impropermaintenance,or

ControlSystemsoneachnewVOLVOdieselengineinanewPrevostcoachtocomplywith
allStateofCaliforniaemissionsregulationsapplicableatthetimeofmanufactureofthe
engine,andtobefreefromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanshipundernormaluseand
serviceupto60monthsor160000km(100,000miles),whicheveroccursrst,providedall
Prevostmaintenancerequirementsarefollowedasdescribedinthismanual.Allwarranty
periodsarecalculatedfromthedate-in-serviceofthenewvehicle.Therepairorreplacement
ofdefectivepartswillbemadewithoutchargeforthecostofpartsand,ifrepairsaremadeat
anauthorizedPrevostServiceCenter,therewillbenochargeforlabor.Prevost’sobligation
underthiswarrantyislimitedtotherepairorreplacement,atPrevost’soption,ofanypart(s)
ofEmissionControlSystemsofsuchengineand/orvehiclefoundtobedefectiveupon
examinationbyPrevostandprovidedthatsuchpart(s)werereturnedtoPrevostoritsnearest
authorizedDealerwithinareasonableperiodoftime.
QualicationsandLimitations:
NotcoveredbytheEmissionsControlSystemsWarranty:
•Malfunctionscausedbymisuse,improperadjustments,modication,alteration,
tampering,disconnection,improperorinadequatemaintenanceanduseofimproper
dieselfuelorDEF.
•Damageresultingfromaccident,actsofnatureorothereventsbeyondthecontrol
ofPrevost
•Inconvenience,lossofuseofthevehicle,commerciallossofanykindincluding,butnot
limitedto,consequentialorincidentaldamages.
•Anyvehicleinwhichtheodometerhasbeenalteredordamagedsothatmileagecannot
bereadilydetermined.
