Water separator, draining
The water separator is designed to remove the
water from the fuel supplied to the engine.
Check and drain the water in the water separator
filter element when the check screen for water in
fuel pops up on the I-ECU.
1 Place a suitable sized container under drain
hose (C).
2 Open the drain valve (B) and drain the sediment
into a container.
NOTICE
Take care of filters, oils and liquids in an
environmentally safe way.
3 Close the drain valve (B).
