DASHBOARD FUNCTIONAL FEATURES (fig.4)
To select functions and modify them, press the (16) pushbutton located on
the left side of the handlebar (refer to commands).
DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS
1) Maximum speed function.
The instant speed of the vehicle is displayed.
2) (TOD) Totalizer function.
Incremental odometer that cannot be reset.
3) (TIME) function.
Time can be set only when the vehicle is stopped by pressing the
pushbutton (by the TIME function) until only the segments relating to the
clock function and the TIME wording are active, while all other segments
are turned off.
Depending on the item selected which will start flashing, it is possible to
modify first the hours and then the minutes. , The parameter selected will
increase uniformly by pressing the pushbutton briefly, while a different
parameter (minutes instead of hours) can be selected by pressing at
length. Once the setting is completed, the normal operating mode is
restored by pressing the pushbutton for about 3 seconds.
NOTE. Once you have entered into the setting menu, if more than 20
seconds go by without pressing the pushbutton, the system will
automatically return to the standard operating mode.
4) (TD) Automatic trip function .
The data displayed represents the distance covered by the vehicle; this
counter is automatic: in fact, it is activated by the first impulse coming from
the speed sensor. This data is not memorised permanently. The counter
connected to this parameter can be reset by pressing the pushbutton (by
the TD function) for about 3 seconds until the value 000.0 appears.
Resetting the TD, which can done both while the vehicle is moving or
stopped, also resets the LAP. If the data is higher than the number 999.9,
the system will reset the TD and the LAP, and start counting again.
5) CountDown trip function.
This function comes with a flashing TD wording; the counter is always
active and counts down automatically. The value connected with this
parameter can be modified when the vehicle is stopped by pressing the
pushbutton by the countdown TD function for about 3 seconds until only
the segments relating to the countdown function and the TD (always
flashing) wording are active, while all other segments are turned off. The
different numbers that make up the counter can be modified by selecting
the highest number and moving in a sequence to the lowest number.
Depending on the data selected (that is flashing), a uniform countdown
starts by pressing the pushbutton briefly, while a different parameter can
be selected by pressing at length. Once the setting is completed, the
normal operating mode is restored by pressing the pushbutton by the
lowest number for about 3 seconds. If the data reaches the value 000.0,
the system will initialise it at value 999.9.
NOTE. Once you have entered into the setting menu, if more than 20
seconds go by without pressing the pushbutton, the system will
automatically return to the standard operating mode.
6) Automatic stop-watch function (LAP).
The LAP information is displayed. This data represents the actual time
used to cover the miles, associated with the TD parameter. It is an
automatic counter: it is activated by the first impulse coming from the
speed sensor and it stops 3 seconds after receiving the last impulse from
that same speed sensor. This data is not memorised permanently.
The counter connected to this parameter can be reset by pressing the
pushbutton by the LAP function for about 3 seconds until the value 000.0
appears.
Resetting the LAP, which can done both while the vehicle is moving or
stopped, also resets the TD.
If the data is higher than the number 23-59 (meaning 23h59’59”), the
system will reset the LAP and the TD, and start counting again.

7) Changing the wheel circumference and the unit of measurement.
The wheel circumference and the unit of measurement can be changed
only when the vehicle is stopped by pressing the pushbutton by the TOD
function until the only information appearing on the display is the wheel
circumference, while all the other segments are turned off.
The different numbers that make up the wheel circumference value can be
changed by selecting the highest number and moving in a sequence to
the lowest number. Depending on the data selected (that is flashing), a
uniform countdown starts by pressing the pushbutton briefly, while a
different parameter can be selected by pressing at length. Once the
setting is completed, the unit of measurement can be changed by
pressing the pushbutton by the lowest number for about 3 seconds. at this
point two wordings will be displayed, Km/h and Mph, and initially the item
selected will start flashing. The modification and later return of the
instruments to the standard operating mode occurs in correspondence
with what has been described above.
Changing the unit of measurement
irreversibly deletes both the TD and the LAP.
NOTE. Once you have entered into the setting menu, if more than 20
seconds go by without pressing the pushbutton, the system will
automatically return to the standard operating mode.
NOTE. If the selected wheel circumference is>2.500mm, the system
will automatically select a default value (2.091mm).
Information relating to the value of the selected wheel circumference and
the unit of measurement are saved.
8) Wheel circumference values.
The default value of the circumference is 2.091 mm for the Enduro models
or 1.878 mm for the Supermotard models.
9) Succession of functions available.
It is possible to scroll the functions, both if the vehicle is stopped and
moving, by pressing the pushbutton according to the sequence shown in
the table hereunder.

10) Sleep-Mode.
1 min after the last impulse comes from the speed sensor or after pressing
the pushbutton, the micro-controller goes into the sleep-mode. This is
characterised by low consumption of current with the display and
backlighting turned off (if the vehicle is not equipped with a battery,
backlighting turns off automatically when the vehicle is turned off) and only
the clock remains on. Sleep-mode is always possible, independently from
the function selected.
11) Wake-Up (from the sleep-mode).
Wake-up from the sleep-mode occurs when:
• The instrument receives a signal from the speed sensor
• The pushbutton is pressed
The following occurs after the micro-controller wake-up:
• A check of the display (all segments are turned on) and the indicator
lights (all indicator lights are turned on, but only if the power supply
from the vehicle is on) for about 2 seconds.
The value of the selected wheel circumference is displayed for about 2
seconds.
The last function displayed before the system went into the sleep-mode
is activated.
