Unit is not producing
desired amount
ofhumidity.
Unit is not emitting
steam.
Unit has a decrease in
visible steam plume.
POSSIBLE CAUSE AND SOLUTIONPROBLEM
Water level in tank is empty or too low. Rell tank with clean, cool
water.
Unit has reached its set point. When set humidity level is reached,
the fan and heat element will turn off until humidity level in room
drops below humidity set point.
Airow is blocked. Remove obstruction.
Unit settings are too low. Set to hot steam setting for maximum
humidity output.
The water tank has run out of water and “CH” code is ashing on
control panel. Rell tank with clean, cool water.
Unit’s internal thermostat is turning heat element off and on
(cycling) to ensure proper operating conditions. Cycling can occur
if heat element needs cleaning. The heat element may turn off
for approximately 30-45 seconds before turning back on. While
heat element is off unit may not emit steam. “CL” code will ash
on control panel. Clean heat element and resume operation. See
CLEANING.
Mineral scale has accumulated on heat element and “CL” code is
ashing on control panel. Clean heat element and resume operation.
