Options during playback
When a message is playing, you can adjust the playback volume, skip, repeat,
delete the message, or switch between speakerphone and handset earpiece.
When a message is playing on the console:
Press +/VOL/-/VOL/-- to adjust the message playback volume.
Press /SKIP after the date and time announcement to skip to the
next message.
Press /REPEAT to repeat the current message. Immediately pressImmediately presspress
/REPEAT after the date and time announcement to hear the previous
message.
Press DELETE after the date and time announcement to delete the
message. The system announces “Message deleted.”
Lift the corded handset to listen to the message playback through the
handset earpiece. Press SPEAKER to switch back to speakerphone.
Transfer messages
When a message is playing, you can transfer the message to a desired
extension.
When a message is playing on the console:
Press TRANSFER.
Press or to choose a desired extension, then press
MENU/SELECT or /SKIP. The console displays Message
transferred to extension X and announces, “Message
transferred to extension mailbox X.”
NOTE: Messages transferred to another extension will not have a copy saved in the
originated mailbox.
