The messages on
the system are very
difcult to hear.
• Press or on the telephone base to increase or decrease the speaker volume.
The answering system
does not respond to
remote commands.
• Make sure you are entering the correct remote access code (see page 32 and 33).
• Make sure you are calling from a touch-tone telephone. When dialing a number, you should hear
tones. If you hear clicks, then it is not a touch-tone telephone and cannot activate the answering
system.
• The answering system may not detect the remote access code when your announcement is
playing. Wait until the announcement is over before entering the code.
• There may be interference on the telephone line you are using. Press the dial pad keys rmly
when dialing.
My cordless handset
beeps ve times and
is not performing
normally.
• Make sure the power cord is securely plugged into the telephone base. Plug the unit into a
different working electrical outlet not controlled by a wall switch.
• Move the cordless handset closer to the telephone base. It may be out of range.
• Reset the telephone base by unplugging and removing the battery from the handset. Wait for 15
seconds then plug in the battery and plug in the power. Allow up to one minute for the cordless
handset and the telephone base to synchronize.
• Other electronic products can cause interference to your cordless telephone. Try installing
your telephone as far away from these electronic devices as possible: wireless routers, radios,
radio towers, pager towers, cellular telephones, intercoms, room monitors, televisions, personal
computers, kitchen appliances and other cordless telephones.
