Answering system settings
To set message alert tone with the telephone base:
Press MENU when idle, then press SELECT to select Answering system.
Scroll to Ans sys setup, then press SELECT.
Scroll to Msg alert tone, then press SELECT.
Scroll to On or Off, then press SAVE.
Message recording time
You can set the recording time allowed for incoming messages. The
message length is three minutes by default.
To set message recording time with a cordless handset:
Press MENU when idle.
Scroll to Answering sys, then press SELECT.
Scroll to Ans sys setup, then press SELECT.
Scroll to Recording time, then press SELECT.
Scroll to 3 minutes, 2 minutes or 1 minute, then press SELECT.
To set message recording time with the telephone base:
Press MENU when idle, then press SELECT to select Answering system.
Scroll to Ans sys setup, then press SELECT.
Scroll to Recording time, then press SELECT.
Scroll to 3 minutes, 2 minutes or 1 minute, then press SAVE.
