Dial a caller ID log entry
1. Search for the desired caller ID log
entry (see “Review the caller ID log”).
2. When the desired entry displays,
press or on the handset to
dial.
Delete caller ID entries
1. Search for the desired caller ID log
entry (see “Review the caller ID log”).
2. Press to delete the displayed
entry.
• The screen displays Deleting....
• You hear a confirmation tone.
To delete all entries
1. Press when the phone is not in
use.
2. Press ▼/▲ to scroll to Caller ID log,
and then press to select.
3. Press ▼/▲ to scroll to Delete all, and
then press to select.
4. When the screen shows Delete all?,
press to select and confirm.
• The screen returns to the previous
menu.
Missed call indicator
When there are calls that have not been
reviewed in the caller ID log, the screen
displays XX missed calls.
Each time you review a caller ID log
entry marked
NEW
on the handset, the
number of missed calls decreases by
one.
When you have reviewed all the missed
calls, the missed call indicator no longer
displays.
If you do not want to review the missed
calls one by one, press and hold
when not in use to clear the missed
call indicator. All the entries are then
considered old. You hear a confirmation
tone.
Block unknown calls
You can block all incoming calls with
unknown numbers automatically.
1. Press when the phone is not in
use.
2. Press ▼/▲ to choose Call block, then
press to select.
3. Press ▼/▲ to choose Calls w/o num,
then press to select.
4. Press ▼/▲ to choose Unblock or
Block, then press to select.
• You hear a confirmation tone.
Call block
If you subscribe to caller ID service, you
can set the telephone to block unknown
calls and certain undesired calls. The call
block list can store up to 150 entries.
Add a call block entry
1. Press when the phone is not in
use.
2. Press ▼/▲ to choose Call block, then
press to select.
3. Press ▼/▲ to choose Block list, then
press to select.
4. Press ▼/▲ to choose Add new entry,
then press to select.
• Enter number displays.
5. Use the dialing keys to enter a number
(up to 30 digits); - or -
Copy a number from the redial list
by pressing , and then press
▼/▲ or repeatedly to find the
desired number. Press to select
and copy the number.
6. Press to proceed to entering
name.
• Enter name displays.
7. Use the dialing keys to enter a name
(up to 15 characters).
• Additional key presses show other
characters on that key.
• The first character of every word is
capitalized.
8. Press to save.
• You hear a confirmation tone.
• The screen returns to the previous
menu.
While entering names and numbers
• Press ▼/▲ to move the cursor to the
left or right.
• Press on the cordless handset
or DELETE X on the telephone base
to erase a digit.
• Press and hold to erase all
digits.
• Press and hold to enter a
dialing pause (a p appears).
• Press to add a space.
Review call block list
1. Press when the phone is not in
use.
2. Press ▼/▲ to choose Call block, then
press to select.
3. Press ▼/▲ to choose Block list, then
press to select.
4. Press ▼/▲ to choose Review, then
press to select.
5. Press ▼/▲ to browse through the
directory.
• The screen displays List empty if
there are no block entries.
