Answering system operation
To play messages on the handset:
Press MENU when the phone is not in use.
Press SELECT to choose Play msgs. If you have either new or old messages, the
messages play automatically. If you have both new and old messages:
To play new messages, press SELECT to select
Play new msgs.
To play old messages, press q or p to choose Play old
msgs, then press SELECT.
When the handset is playing a message, its screen shows the
caller’s name or number. If the caller’s information is unavailable,
the handset shows No caller info.
Options during playback:
Press VOL+ or VOL- to adjust the message playback volume.
Press SKIP to skip to the next message.
Press REPEAT to repeat the message. Press REPEAT twice to hear the
previous message.
Press to switch between the speakerphone and the handset earpiece.
Press DELETE to delete the playing message. The handset displays Message
deleted briey and the system advances to the next message.
Press OFF to stop the playback.
Only one device can access the answering system at a time.
