What to do if my VTech LS6185A does not work?

If your VTech IP Phone isn't working, check the following: 1. Ensure the batteries are correctly installed and charged. For optimal daily performance, return the handset to the telephone base after use. 2. Make sure the power adapter is securely plugged into an outlet. 3. Verify the telephone line cord is firmly connected to both the telephone base and the wall jack. 4. Unplug the telephone base's power, wait 15 seconds, and then plug it back in. Allow one minute for synchronization. 5. Remove and re-insert the batteries. If it still fails, consider purchasing new batteries. 6. Disconnect the base from the wall jack and plug in a working telephone. If that phone doesn't work, the problem lies with your wiring or telephone service. Contact your telephone service provider.
