Rack Ears, Half Rack Width Option (P/N: 70-0373-101)
The tabletop installation option can be used when an EX1200 is not installed in a rack, but will be
employed as a bench top or desktop instrument.
Required Tools
1) #2 Phillips screwdriver

Screw, 6-32 x ¼”, F/H Undercut Phillips, Zinc
Assembly Procedure
1) Place the chassis on a protected work surface with its input connectors facing front.
2) Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, install the rack ears (P/N: 41-0482-009 and 41-0493-011) on
the front of the EX1200 using five (5) 6-32 x 3/8” flat head Phillips stainless steel screws
(P/N: 37-0114-025) per rack ear. Note that the “Optional Mounting Locations” in Figure 2-4
allow the EX1200 to be installed in a rack either flush or recessed.
3) Place the EX1200 in the desired rack slot and secure the front rack ears with hardware
provided with the rack.
