3U MAINFRAME INSTALLATION OPTIONS
EX1200s have three options which can installed prior to installation:
Tabletop Installation Option (P/N: 70-0370-100)
Rack Ear Installation Option (P/N: 70-0370-101)
Rackmount Installation Option (P/N: 70-0370-102)
These options are not included with the EX1200 system and must be ordered separately.
Tabletop Installation Option (P/N: 70-0370-100)
The tabletop installation option can be used when an EX1200 is not installed in a rack, but will be
employed as a bench top or desktop instrument.

Assembly Procedure
1) Place the chassis on a protected work surface with its input connectors facing front.
2) Using Figure 2-11, locate the installation locations for each rubber foot. Note the location of
the two shims (P/N: 41-0494-022) that are required for the two bottom, front locations.
3) Using the #2 Phillips screw driver, install the eight rubber feet using four (4) 6-32 x 7/16” pan
head Phillips screws to secure the top and bottom and one (1) 6-32 x 1/2” pan head Phillips
screw to secure side of each foot.
