ü Machine is in an upright and stable position for at least 15 minutes.
1. Remove dirt in the area of the sight glass 1.
2. Check the oil level through the sight glass.
ð The oil level must be between ½ and ¾.
3. If necessary, top up oil, see Technische Daten on page 46.
Refilling the oil level in the ramming system
1. Tilt the machine forward to access the sight glass 1.
2. Secure the machine in this position.
3. Unscrew the sight glass.
4. Clean the thread on the sight glass.
5. Pour oil into the housing through the opening in the sight glass.
6. Tighten the sight glass.
7. Place the machine in upright position to check the oil level.
8. If necessary, top up oil until the sight glass ½ to ¾ is filled.
9. Tighten the sight glass again. Tightening torque 9 Nm.
10. Wipe the area of the sight glass with a clean cloth.
9.3.7 Changing oil in the ramming system
Environment
Soil contamination due to oil leaking or overflowing.
► Line work surface with impermeable foil.
► Use collecting container for used oil.
► Dispose of used oil in an environmentally friendly manner in accord-
ance with statutory regulations.
